Hello families,
As Ontario gradually and safely reopens, the government has further extended the State of Emergency until June 30th to protect public health and safety from COVID-19 while easing some restrictions. “Extending the provincial Declaration of Emergency will allow us to safely and gradually reopen the province, while we continue to use every resource at our disposal to battle this deadly virus,” said Premier Doug Ford. Due to this extension, Centres for Early Learning will continue to remain closed, depending on the Provincial re-opening of businesses plan. We will keep you informed as soon as we are advised of reopening timelines and protocols.
We hope you are continuing to stay connected and are healthy and happy. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

The situation continues to be reviewed thoroughly by the Premier’s office, the Ministry of Education and other qualified personnel advising both.
We will be sure to inform you all the minute we hear that child care has been given the go ahead to resume operations.

Hello Everyone,
We hope that you are all keeping well and making the most of your extra special family time over these weeks that you are at home.
As you have probably heard, that time has been extended. We have been mandated by the province (see below) to, at this point, to stay closed until April 13. We wish we could let you know this information even further out but according to the Declaration of Emergency the province only allows closures to be extended 14 days at a time. We therefore cannot determine if this closure will be extended further but we will be sure to let you know just as soon as we do.
We miss you all!

From Premier Doug Ford – March, 31 2020:
Premier Doug Ford announced today that all schools in Ontario will remain closed until at least May 4th and that, “As these dates come closer, this decision will be re-evaluated based on public health advice. The closure may be extended if necessary to protect the health and safety of students, families and staff”.
Further, “Private schools, licensed child care centres and EarlyON programs will also remain closed until April 13, according to the Declaration of Emergency, which only allows closures to be extended for one 14-day period at a time. Select centres designated to support frontline health care workers and first responders will remain open”
