What is Inclusion?
Centres for Early Learning is committed to provide high quality Education Curriculum for all children, families and staff. This commitment supports our efforts to enrich the lives of all that we work with.
All children are welcome, and we strive to ensure our Education Curriculum is reflective of the various needs of our children and their families
We understand that every child’s needs are unique, and we will do our best to support each child in reaching their fullest potential.
In order to achieve this goal, we believe in acting as a trusted partner with parents and families to better satisfy each child’s needs on all levels, including: social, emotional, cognitive and physical.
How is Inclusion demostrated?
Our Education Curriculum is committed to:
- Meet the diverse needs of our children and families by supporting, and funding, continuous staff training and development
- Offer developmentally appropriate, anti-bias/multi-cultural curriculum. By offering the children the opportunity to share their family traditions through displays, story telling, music, and dance, etc., we broaden the children’s knowledge, skills and positive attitude toward themselves and their peers
Accessing Community resources and connecting with local partners to gain further support is also a part of our mission to provide an integrated and effective Education Curriculum.
Our goal is to reduce physical barriers wherever possible and implement positive changes to promote the full participation of all children.
Children with special needs hold rights and responsibilities as equal, and essential, members of our community.
